BEAST WARS
Pick a battleground, draft your beasts and find out which pack survives.
THE IDEA
Beast Wars is Animal Arena's competitive animal-drafting game. You and your opponents build packs from a changing selection of animals, then discover how those packs perform in a series of fictional clashes. It's not simply a contest to pick the biggest predator. The battleground, the animals still available and the balance of your pack all matter.
1. PICK A BATTLEGROUND
Choose land, water, sky or the full animal roster. Then choose a territory to decide which animals can appear. A good pick for an open-water battle will not necessarily be useful on land. The options you set at the start shape the choices everyone receives.
2. SET UP YOUR PLAYERS
On the same device, you can choose your challengers and decide how many beasts each player gets to draft. You can include computer-controlled challengers, leave the pick timer off or turn it on for faster decisions. The game also has a private online mode: create an arena, share its code with friends and let them join from their own devices.
3. DRAFT YOUR PACK
Players take turns choosing animals. Species already claimed are taken out of the available pool, so waiting too long for a favourite can backfire. Consider strength and resilience, but also how a particular animal might cope with a difficult opponent. If you want to examine an animal, use its card and the available details before confirming your choice.
4. LET THE BATTLES BEGIN
Once the packs are ready, Beast Wars runs its clashes and shows what happened. Survivors, injuries and the available fighters influence the contest as it continues. The winner is the last pack standing, not necessarily the player who collected the most famous animals.
WAYS TO PLAY
Same device: Pass one screen between players and draft locally. Private online arena: Create a room, share the arena code and play with invited friends. Online rooms are private invitations rather than public matchmaking.
ARE THE RESULTS REALISTIC?
Beast Wars draws inspiration from real animal traits, habitats and behaviour, but its battles are fictional. Ratings and match outcomes are simplified for play. They are not scientific predictions of actual encounters between wild animals.
